Enmar Hardwood Flooring Wins Award For ``Green`` Reclaimed Flooring

Mesa, Ariz. (April 14, 2008) – Mesa’s own ENMAR Hardwood Flooring has won top honors once again in this year’s National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) Wood of the Year contest. Out of 232 entries, ENMAR Hardwood Flooring won for Best Reclaimed, which acknowledges superior installations in residential and commercial settings. NWFA members voted online to determine the winners, and the awards were presented at the organization’s annual convention in March.

Reclaimed wood is that which is gathered from old, vacant structures and reused in homebuilding, in many cases for flooring. Recycling the wood in this way saves new trees from being cut down.

“Being eco-friendly is very important to ENMAR”, said Tricia Thompson, co-owner of ENMAR Hardwood Flooring. “To have this aspect of our company awarded, along with our high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail, is a big honor.”

The company’s reclaimed wood flooring is harvested from centuries-old buildings and milled into a finished product that is both durable and beautiful. “We’re reusing a part of history,” Thompson said, “and our clients are happy to know they’re not destroying forests.”
